currant, grapefruit, savory

Roast Level

light roast

Cecilia Wanjiku Haniel has grown coffee in Kirinyaga, Kenya for more than 40 years. For two decades, she sold coffee through her local cooperative society and in 1996 she officially incorporated her farm as a private estate. Over the years, Cecilia became known not just for producing great coffee, but also her community leadership. She shares her expertise with her neighbors and now with her grandchildren, who help run the family farm today. This experience is evident in the cup, which is layered with  notes of sweet and savory currant and grapefruit.
